THIS TERM WAS BASED ON HISTORY AND FUTURES, WE LOOKED INTO CONTENT, CONTEXT, COLLECTING DATA / RESEARCH, WRITTEN AND VISUAL COMMUNICATION. WE ALSO LOOKED INTO THE EFFECTS DESIGN can HAve ON SOCIETY. 
WITH THIS, I CHOSE TO BASE PART OF MY PROJECT ON A CAMPAIGN AGAINST GANG RELATED CRIME WITHIN THE LOCAL AREA, USING SHOCK TACTICS WITHIN IMAGERY AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION. THIS IS AIMED AT YOUNGER GENERATIONS WHO COULD POTENTIALLY GET INVOLVED IN GANG RELATED CRIME, USING POSTERS AND OTHER VISUALS TO BRING THE ATTENTION TO THE AUDIENCE THROUGH USE OF GANG-RELATED TERMS AND IMAGERY. BELOW IS A VIDEO PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECT, AS IF THIS WAS TO BE PRESENTED TO AN ORGANISATION FOR POTENTIAL USE OF THE IDEA AND PROJECT.
Through some extensive research i discovered that thanet is one of the most deprived areas in the uk, aligning with the feelings of the locals. apposed to this, we are also ranked one of the nicest areas which is extremely OPPOSITE to the way of life in this area of the uk.
DURING THE COURSE OF THIS PROJECT, WE HAD A RECENT STRING OF STABBINGS WHICH LOOKED TO ALL BE GANG AND COUNTY LINES RELATED WHICH WAS A BECOMING A REAL PROBLEM IN THE AREA.
FURTHER RESEARCH IN THIS PROJECT LEAD ME TO ANTI-CRIME CAMPAIGNS FROM NON-PROFIT ORGANISATIONS WHICH ARE USUALLY RUN BY VICTIMS OF THESE TRAGIC EVENTS. SO I SOUGHT TO USE HARD LANGUAGE TO CREATE A CAMPAIGN WHICH COULD BE SPREAD OUT ACROSS THE COUNTY WITH POTENTIAL TO BECOME A NATIONWIDE CAMPAIGN. 
SO I APPROACHED THIS CAMPAIGN BY STRIPPING BACK EXPENSIVE ADDS WITH THE IDEA THAT THIS CAMPAIGN NEEDS BE DISTRIBUTED FREELY BY ANY INDIVIDUAL OR COLLABORATION WITH LOCAL COUNCILS. POSTERS AND LEAFLETS TO BE SPREAD OUT  WITH BACK UP TALKS AND EVENTS PROMOTING ANT-KNIFE CRIME WHICH ALSO SUBLIMINALLY TARGETS GANG CULTURE BY USING THEIR LANGUAGE TO COMMUNICATE THEM THE CONSEQUENCES OF THEIR ACTIONS.
